Not Satisfied with Your Legal Aid Lawyer
If you’re unhappy about your legal aid lawyer, you should first try to sort out the problem with him or her directly.
If that doesn’t work, contact the Agency staff you’ve been dealing with and explain the issue.
The Agency will first consider whether it can deal with the problem by talking to your lawyer.
If it can’t, and there’s a good reason for a complaint, the Agency will formally investigate it.
It is unusual for legal aid lawyers to be changed and the Agency must agree to it.
